Senior Pics at the Myriad Gardens

I was excited to work with Miss E on her senior portraits. She wanted to take them at the Myriad, while flowers were in bloom. I love it when seniors request a specific location, because it gives the session so much more of a feel of who they are. When I know specifics like “I want blooming flowers”, it helps me not only have a better focus of what to take pictures of, but also when the schedule the session. I actually ended up rescheduling this session, because I didn’t feel like the flowers were nice enough on our original date.

Raegan

I had planned with Raegan’s family to meet them at Hafer Park, but when I arrived there a few minutes early, the park was absolutely PACKED.  Unbeknownst to me, there was a giant “LARP”ing event going on that evening.  I quickly called Raegan’s parents and re-routed them to to my other favorite local place to shoot, Bickham-Rudkin Park….
