I was excited to work with Miss E on her senior portraits. She wanted to take them at the Myriad, while flowers were in bloom. I love it when seniors request a specific location, because it gives the session so much more of a feel of who they are. When I know specifics like “I want blooming flowers”, it helps me not only have a better focus of what to take pictures of, but also when the schedule the session. I actually ended up rescheduling this session, because I didn’t feel like the flowers were nice enough on our original date.
When I arrived on the session I met the sweetest senior, miss E. She was one of the nicest people I have worked with. We tried having her do a serious face in a couple of the photos, but she could not, NOT smile. When we got talking, during the session, I found out that she will begin attending my alma matter, Baylor, this fall! I’m really excited for her and know she will do so well there! Go Bears!
