Every now and then a really special photo session comes along that I (more than usual) get excited about shooting. This was just one of those sessions. I visited theDale Rogers Training Center in Oklahoma City, to take photos for their new marketing material. I really enjoyed seeing the people, or as they refer to them, “clients” who receive training there. The day I went, the clients were working on a variety of things, from fulfilling orders for contracts, to completing job applications.

The clients thought it was really cool to have a photographer there, and they got quite excited to have their picture taken. There was one client in particular kept making a cameo in my photos. I’ve posted some of his below along with a few other of my faves from this session.

These photos were taken for a business that sells petroleum corrosion monitoring tools.   I know it’s not the typical smiling family you expect to see on my website, but it’s beautiful nonetheless.

These are photos from a session I did for the upcoming cover of OK Runner & Triathlete magazine’s “Oklahoma Runners of the Year” edition.  I was very impressed with the runners’ dedication to their sport.  The winners said they worked out as many as THREE times a day.  I can only imagine all the hard work that must have gone into winning this award!

Of course I am breaking a gym date with myself so I can get this blog entry posted.  Oh well…

These are photos from my recent session in Bricktown with Mr. Britt.  He contacted me to take photos for a new album he is releasing soon.  We chose to take the pictures in Bricktown because the gritty backdrop of the alleys in that area are perfect for urban look he was going for.   I had a great time running around taking these pictures and he was such a natural at posing; it was a great photo session!
