Our summer garden is really producing!  Today I harvested 6 cucumbers, tons of cherry tomatoes, and the first full-sized tomato of the season.  I will have a beautiful salad for lunch today.

Truthfully, I’m not a fan of summer… at least not the 90 + degree days, but this makes it quite bearable!

Brooke’s family moved here from across the country earlier this year. They wanted to have pictures of her and their new puppy in a setting that reflected Oklahoma.  Brooke was wonderful to work with and the fall leaves were showing off some nice color where we were shooting. The puppy really enjoyed the fall day too. He wanted to run, sniff, jump, and play everywhere… except in front of the camera.  I still managed to get a couple with him though.

Before heading to the Opry, we took these pictures in Bricktown. I love urban feel of all the old buildings there! Bryce did an awesome job of smiling for the camera, and it totally shows! Great setting + bright smile… we’re in business!

You may have heard Bryce singing around town before, He opened at Craig Morgan’s concert this summer, and he is a regular at the Rodeo Opry. With all his talent, I had to catch him in action as part of his senior photos. So after capturing his regular senior photos we headed over to the Oklahoma Opry where he preformed. These are photos from a session I did for the upcoming cover of OK Runner & Triathlete magazine’s “Oklahoma Runners of the Year” edition.  I was very impressed with the runners’ dedication to their sport.  The winners said they worked out as many as THREE times a day.  I can only imagine all the hard work that must have gone into winning this award!

Of course I am breaking a gym date with myself so I can get this blog entry posted.  Oh well…

These are photos from my recent session in Bricktown with Mr. Britt.  He contacted me to take photos for a new album he is releasing soon.  We chose to take the pictures in Bricktown because the gritty backdrop of the alleys in that area are perfect for urban look he was going for.   I had a great time running around taking these pictures and he was such a natural at posing; it was a great photo session!  

I snuck outside this morning to capture some of our beautiful winter weather!  My favorite of these photos are the bushes with the little frozen orange buds on them.  It’s perfect reminder of how uncertain Oklahoma weather can be!

Here are shots I took while on location in Eastern Oklahoma for an Oklahoma City Oil Company.  I had a blast crawling around on the ground trying to get just the right angle.  Here are some of my favorites:

I decided to play around with my camera on Friday night and take some night time exposures. My husband and I piled in our car and drove to the outskirts of Arcadia.  I have posted a few of my favorites below. Enjoy!
